Sandino A. Sanchez

Director, Community Leader, Servant Leader

Sandino A. Sanchez is a dynamic leader and dedicated public servant whose career spans more than three decades of management, youth development, and community empowerment. As the Director of Workforce Development for The Children’s Aid Society, he oversees program implementation, compliance, and strategic initiatives designed to enhance opportunities for youth and families across New York City. His leadership has driven innovative workforce programs, strengthened organizational operations, and expanded partnerships that create lasting community impact.

Before joining The Children’s Aid Society, Mr. Sanchez held several senior leadership roles at The Valley, Inc., including Senior Deputy Director and Deputy Director of Workforce Development, where he guided education, youth entrepreneurship, and family preservation initiatives. Earlier in his career, he made national contributions as one of the Founding Beacon Program Director at Alianza Dominicana, developing the first National Beacon Community School Model that became a cornerstone of youth development and community engagement across the country.

Mr. Sanchez has served as a trainer and facilitator for numerous organizations, including the National Center for Strategic Nonprofit Planning, Neighborhood Families Services Coalition, and The Fund for the City of New York, where he delivered workshops on leadership, cultural identity, and community-school collaboration.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Baruch College (CUNY) and is recognized for his skills in conflict mediation, organizational development, and youth empowerment. Beyond his professional work, Mr. Sanchez is deeply active in civic and fraternal life. He serves as a Board Member of the Prince Hall Foundation and was previously a Board Member of the Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute (CCCADI). His dedication to mentorship, leadership, and community service continues to inspire all who work alongside him.
