After Suffering From COVID-19 Karen Found Help From the Chicago Urban League

Karen J. lives in Chicago and has helps support her parents with her income. In November of 2019 she contracted COVID. After becoming extremely sick and unable to work for weeks, her life began to spiral downward and she fell behind in paying her rent and other bills.  Her father was retired and suffered from several major illnesses. Karen reached a point where she was unable to purchase food and assist her parents.
