Birmingham Urban League Hosts Empower Her Awards
BIRMINGHAM – Recently, the Birmingham Urban League (Birmingham, AL) hosted their 2nd Annual Empower Her Awards, honoring the city’s women leaders.
According to the Birmingham Urban League’s Vice President of Operations and Programs, Kelli Solomon, “The purpose of the Empower Her Award show is exactly in the title. We look forward to honoring the women who do so much in the local community. These women are local leaders, businesswomen, and even your local community members.”
Hosted by TeAndria Ellis, founder of The Surge Project, the awards show also recognized the recipients of last year’s awards, which was held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
