Urban League of Broward County to Host Career Fair

FORT LAUDERDALE (April 3, 2023) – In partnership with Hispanic Unity, the Urban League of Broward County (Fort Lauderdale, FL) will be hosting the inaugural “Learn. Work. Win.” Job and Educational Fair.

The Fair will take place on Thursday, April 20th, from 9 AM – 1 PM at the Urban League.

Attendees will be able to have their professional headshots taken at no cost, get “job ready” haircuts, and dress for their new job opportunity via the “closing closet.”

They will also have the opportunity to apply for job opportunities via recruiters at the event. CareerSource Broward, another partner, will also be present with their professionals to help with resumes.

For attendees who are seeking searching for a new career path, CareerSource Broward can assist with up to $12,000 scholarship assistance for those interested in training programs. Colleges and technical programs that offer career training in industries such as nursing, cyber security, dental technician, and other areas will also be present at the fair.
