Urban League Announces 30th Class of Legendary Lions Society

Six people were honored Wednesday (April 10th) for enriching the lives of others in the Greater Cincinnati community.
The Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio (Cincinnati, OH) held its 30th Glorifying the Lions Luncheon.
Each year, the Urban League honors distinguished leaders who have shown a commitment to serving the community and improved southwestern Ohio through their words, actions and deeds.
This year's honorees at the event included:
- Karen Bankston, Ph.D., MSN, RN, Professor Emerita, UC College of Nursing
- Calvin D. Buford, Partner, Dinsmore & Shohl LLP (Retired)
- Michael Fisher, President & CEO, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center (Retired)
- Delores Hargrove-Young, Vice Chairwoman, d.e. Foxx & Associates, Inc.
- J. Phillip Holloman, President & Chief Operating Officer, Cintas Corporation (Retired)
- John E. Pepper, Chairman & CEO, The Procter & Gamble Company (Retired)
