The Urban League of Union County (Elizabeth, NJ) is proud to announce a growing partnership with Power Home Remodeling ("POWER"), highlighted by a generous $200,000 grant awarded through the company's POWER for Good initiative. The funding will directly support the Urban League's mission-driven community services, including youth programs, workforce development, and other essential resources aimed at building opportunity and equity throughout Union County.

More than just financial support, this partnership represents a shared commitment to community impact and meaningful engagement. In recent months, both organizations have connected through site visits, volunteerism, and forward-looking collaboration.

POWER representatives visited the Urban League's offices to learn more about the organization's work and impact on the ground. In turn, Crystal Orr, President & CEO of the Urban League of Union County, and Dr. Stephanie Falana, Operations & Programs Manager, visited POWER's Edison, NJ office to meet with over 150 members of their team, sharing the Urban League's mission and exploring long-term partnership opportunities.

"I am grateful to bring on new partners to our organization that saw the work we were doing and wanted to acknowledge it—not only through financial support, which is always appreciated—but by joining us in meaningful, hands-on ways," said Crystal Orr, President & CEO of the Urban League of Union County. "I value partnerships that are holistic, where we support each other's missions in kind. Volunteerism, shared vision, and community impact—that's what this is about. That is exactly what Power Home Remodeling and their POWER for Good initiative have shown us."
