NEW YORK, NY - New York Urban League will celebrate Black History Month with a series of events and activities for the community.  During this time of heightened awareness of racial disparities exacerbated by COVID, we invite you to read our State of Black New York, connect with on-going opportunities for service at our organization, and learn about ways to diversify your workforce.  Join us at www.nyul.org.

"We thought it was especially important to provide opportunities for youth and adults to learn, to reflect, and to celebrate this Black History Month.  This past year has been very challenging as COVID continues to ravage black and brown communities and take an economic toll.  Our nation has started to face its racist past and its impact on our divisive present. Fighting for voting rights, managing COVID and addressing the economic, educational, and emotional needs of our communities remain our top priorities.  As a result, this year our celebration of Black History Month will feature opportunities to both volunteer and participate in a range of NYUL programs and services," says Arva Rice, President and CEO, New York Urban League.

Please see the below list of events and activities.
