National Urban League Partners with FreeWill for New Online Tool

NEW YORK (Oct. 17, 2022) We recently launched a partnership with FreeWill. FreeWill is a free and voluntary online estate planning tool that guides you through the process of creating a legally valid will. Life is unpredictable, and with a plan in place, you can be assured that the people, things, and causes you care about will be protected in the future.

Empowering Black Americans to build wealth and financial stability is at the core of our mission. Every education, job, housing, health, and civic engagement opportunity supports economic mobility for all. Estate planning is another tool that our community can use to protect our hard-earned assets and help Black Americans build generational wealth.

October 17-23, 2022 is National Estate Planning Awareness Week. Black Americans are less likely to have an estate plan. Help us close this gap. We encourage you to start your estate planning today!
