National Urban League Announces Apprenticeship Program with Urban League of Louisiana & National Automobile Dealers Association

DALLAS (Jan. 30, 2023) – This past Friday, Jan. 27th, the National Urban League, along with the Urban League of Louisiana (New Orleans, LA) an the National Automobile Dealers Association, announced the launch of a pilot service technician apprenticeship program.
The program, slated to begin in February, will have candidates begin a month long professional and life skills program, which, once completed, will have them shadow employees at Louisiana dealerships while also taking automotive technology classes at either Baton Rouge or Delgado Community College.
