Knoxville Urban League Trains Community Health Navigators

The Knoxville Area Urban League has trained up a team of Community Health Navigators that will help residents get vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19. Click here to read how they're putting their purpose to the pavement!

Over the last two years, the Knoxville Area Urban League (The KAUL) has done amazing work in the fight against COVID-19. Their continuous effort to show up for their community is the very reason they were one of six affiliates chosen to activate Community Health Navigators through the HRSA grant. The KAUL selected 11 navigators, who recently trained with the #GOTVax initiative, and have already hit the ground running by talking with residents across East Tennessee to encourage COVID-19 vaccinations and, in turn, make their community stronger and healthier.
