Indianapolis Urban League Accepting Applications for Quality-of-Life Initiative

INDIANAPOLIS (Sept. 11, 2023) – Get ready for round three.

The Indianapolis Urban League (Indianapolis, IN), along with the African American Coalition of Indianapolis, is gearing up to accept round three applications for RFP Funding from the Indianapolis African American Quality of Life Initiative (IIAQLI).

The initiative, funded by a $100 million grant to the National Urban League from the Lilly Endowment, will provide funding for organizations and community groups that help provide solutions to the Black community in the area.

This round of funding hopes to help programs and organizations that are focused on health and wellness, employment, housing, and civic engagement.

Urban League President and CEO, Tony Mason, said, “We are thrilled the begin our third round of funding. To date, we have distributed millions of dollars to organizations throughout the city that are implementing programs that address the urgent needs of our community. This third round of funding will continue this effort and will create opportunities for new partnerships which will be essential to the success of the initiative.”

RFP proposals will be accepted until October 20th, with award announcements happening in January of 2024.
