Chicago, IL:

The Chicago Urban League has taken the following measures in the wake of the Coronavirus Pandemic:

• Reduced open hours at our main location to 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Monday - Friday. (Rather than 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.) And suspended Saturday morning programming.
• Temporarily closed our Human Capital location, which serves youth from ages 13 - 18. Because Chicago Public Schools are closed, our staff are maintaining contact with students and their families via telephone.
• Encouraging anyone on our staff whose work allows them to work from home to do so.
• Changed all in-person meetings to either phone calls or online meetings.
• Converted certain workshops and program delivery to one-on-one phone consultations with clients or to virtual formats using Zoom meetings or webinars.
