Calling Young Black Leaders! Nominate a Local Activist or Freedom Fighter

 

This Black History Month, the National Urban League is putting the spotlight on young leaders. Our communities across the country are filled with talented, visionary young activists, organizers, and freedom fighters doing what they can with what they have to improve their communities.

Whether they’re starting petitions to address a local issue or organizing food drives or registering neighbors to vote, activism can look many different ways. What matters is the decision to act and mobilize for change.

Do you know a young person that fits that description? Nominate them! They will be featured across National Urban League’s social media platforms throughout February.
