2019 Mollie Moon Award Nomination

We are extremely proud to once again honor our Guild volunteers who have made extraordinary contributions to the growth and development of our great Urban League Movement. An exemplary Guild member will be selected as the recipient of the prestigious Mollie Moon Volunteer Service Award for 2019. The award will be presented at our 2019 National Urban League Conference in Indianapolis, IN during the National Council of Urban League Guild Leadership Luncheon, Friday, July 26th at 12:30 P.M.
Of course, it is fitting that this prestigious award is named after the legendary Mollie Moon, who organized the National Urban League Guild in 1942 and later helped to establish the Council of Urban League Guilds in 1952. She served with distinction as President of the National Urban League Guild for almost fifty years. This award celebrates the spirit of volunteerism that has permeated the Urban League Movement throughout its long history and has become an exciting programmatic enhancement to the conference.
I want to ensure that we have the broadest range of participation and the highest quality of applicants from which to select. Therefore, we encourage each affiliate and Guild member to submit a nominee for this award. We request that you take the time to send nominations of those Guild members who have made special and unparalleled contributions to the Guild and your affiliate. Please note that the deadline for submitting nominations is Monday July 8, 2019 via email to Sabrina Charles at: scharles@nul.org .
We look forward to presenting the Mollie Moon Volunteer Service Award to the winner in Indianapolis, IN, on Friday, July 26, 2019.
