Rebecca Stelter

Rebecca Stelter is a Research Scientist II at innovation Research and Training, Inc. She has worked on numerous grants and contracts to conduct basic and applied research on youth mentoring. Dr. Stelter’s contributions to the field of mentoring have focused on conducting research aimed at understanding mentoring program best practices and developing and evaluating resources for mentoring programs to improve their practices. Since 2009, Dr. Stelter has been involved in the development and promotion of the Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring (EEPM), having co-authored the Third and Fourth editions (2009, 2015; MENTOR/National Mentoring Partnership) as well as several recent supplements to the EEPM for STEM, Workplace, and e-mentoring. Dr. Stelter also volunteered as a mentor for 10 years through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.
