Joshua Meyer

Josh Meyer is a dedicated educator with extensive experience as a coach, teacher, and administrator. Throughout his career, Josh has taught mathematics, coached basketball at both the high school and college levels and served as a critical Burlington School District Equity Office member. As Restorative Practices Coordinator for Burlington, Vermont, he guided the city’s implementation of restorative practices, emphasizing the importance of social justice, mindfulness, and youth empowerment in leadership. Josh holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University and a Master of Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. While at Harvard, he collaborated with Professor Sara Lawrence-Lightfoot and Coach Tommy Amaker on the "Coach-as-Teacher" project, which explores the intersection of teaching and coaching.
