Working in a career that pays you on commission can be challenging when your income is constantly changing, and your bills are consistent. With work slow, Simon Hill and his family eventually fell behind in their mortgage payments.

When Hill came to the Urban League of Palm Beach County, the housing division worked with his bank, Flagstar, to get the family a loan modification. After a month and a half of negotiating, we were able to cute his mortgage payments by $401.15 a month.

Hill was able to catch up on payments, and eventually save his home.
