Louisville (Oct. 17, 2022) – The Louisville Urban League (Louisville, KY) has chosen it’s new leader.

Dr. Kish Cumi Price has been chosen to lead the Urban League, the organization announced via press conference on Friday, Oct. 14th. Her first day at the helm will be Nov, 1st.

Dr. Price will replace the Urban League’s beloved Sadiqa Reynolds, who announced her departure in July.

According to Lori Lee, board chair for the Urban League, who said, “There is no replacing the unique and phenomenal leadership of Sadiqa Reynolds. But there is no question that Kish will forge her own exceptional path and continue to carry this organization to new heights.”

The U.S. economy added 263,000 jobs in September, and the unemployment rate edged down to 3.5%, allaying fears that wage growth and interest rate hikes, intended to slow inflation, would trigger a recession.
