Angela R. Simmons-Smith believes that “to whom much is given, much is required” and has dedicated her life to making a difference in the lives of others through her volunteer work with several organizations. Angela currently serves as the President of the National Council of Urban League Guilds (NCULG) and a National Urban League Trustee. She has been a member of the NCULG Executive Leadership Team for the past 12 years serving as Eastern Region Director, Treasurer and Vice President. She is a former president of the Urban League Guild of Philadelphia and the Urban League of Philadelphia Board member. She is a Risk Management Sr. Analyst with Braskem America and manages a client portfolio of over $750 Million. She is results driven and highly adaptable with a history of solid contributions. Angela is the Co-Founder and CEO of Philadelphia Legacy Media, a non-profit company founded to preserve the legacy of notable African American Philadelphians through education, media, film and archival. Angela is the owner of A. Renee Travel & Consulting where she turns destinations into experiences. Angela is an alumna of North Carolina Central University and Wilmington University.
