Senior Director of Urban Construction & Urban Energy Programs, National Urban League

Nicole Wyley serves as the Senior Director of Urban Construction & Urban Energy Programs at the National Urban League. Prior to joining the National Urban League, Nicole was the Deputy Director of Community Programming at the New York City Department of Buildings (DOB). There, she led initiatives designed to build strong partnerships with community organizations and industry stakeholders, with an emphasis on construction safety. The curriculum introduced participants to Architectural Design, Construction Safety, Forensic Engineering, and Sustainability.

Before her tenure at DOB, Nicole held roles as Program Manager and Youth Services Coordinator at the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD). She managed $26 Million+ contracts and oversaw programs that served Runaway and Homeless Youth, public housing residents, and children and families across New York City. Her responsibilities included detailed program evaluation, budget oversight, and providing technical assistance to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Her expertise in contract management and staff engagement significantly improved program performance and stakeholder satisfaction.

Nicole holds an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Master of Arts in Psychological Studies from Seton Hall University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Lincoln University.
