Robin T. Browder

Robin Browder is an attorney and a District of Columbia native. She has had a diverse professional career and a long history of community service and leadership in the Washington Metropolitan area. Robin Browder holds a B.A. in Political Science and English from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts and a Juris Doctorate from the College of William and Mary, in Williamsburg, VA.

Ms. Browder is active in several community service organizations to include Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated; The Society, Incorporated; The Continental Societies, Inc.; the Greater Washington Urban League and the National Association of Parliamentarians. Attorney Browder has served in several leadership roles in her local community and is a compelling and inspiring public speaker. Having served in many leadership roles on the regional and National level of the Continental Societies, Incorporated, Ms. Browder was the organization’s 14th National President. She has also served as PTA President for Meridian Public Charter School and as a member of their Board of Directors and she has been very active with the establishment of the Mount Holyoke College Black Alumnae Society. She has served as Vice President and Parliamentarian for Zeta Chi Omega Chapter, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. She is also a charter member of the Greater Washington DC Area Urban League Guild, where she has served as Parliamentarian as is currently Guild President. Ms. Browder has served on the Board of Directors of the YMCA Capitol View and is currently a Board member of the Greater Washington Urban League. She has also served as National Parliamentarian for the Continental Societies, Inc. and as National Parliamentarian for two national conferences for the National Council of Urban League Guilds. She currently serves as National Parliamentarian for The Society, Incorporated as well as National Legal Advisor for the Coalition of 100 Black Women. Attorney Browder is a credentialed Parliamentarian and currently holds the status as Professional Registered Parliamentarian with the National Association of Parliamentarians.

Robin cites the following quote by Margaret Mead as one her motivation for serve: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
