Nereida Andino, Senior Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, is a member of the Environmental,
Social and Governance team, working on identifying opportunities that will have positive environmental and social impact in a
managed risk environment including but not limited to issues such as eviction prevention and appraisal industry diversity. Focused
primarily on national partnerships that are aligned with Bank of America’s philanthropic and advocacy strategies. Manages Community Affairs’ philanthropic budget exceeding $13Million. Serves on the enterprise-wide Anti Human Trafficking Taskforce and Hispanic Business Leadership Council. Previously, as the Community Relations Manager throughout the five boroughs in New York City and Westchester County, Nereida was responsible for Economic Mobility grants including affordable housing, economic development, workforce, education, hunger alleviation and financial stability. She works closely with nonprofits and governmental officials in ensuring that there is dialogue between the bank’s lines of business and the community.
Previously, JP Morgan Chase hired Ms. Andino as Vice President for Corporate Philanthropy and Sponsorships to manage
philanthropic community portfolio for non-for-profit agencies serving clients on a city-wide basis. The focus areas included affordable housing, employment and training, small business development, youth education, arts and culture. She also managed the National Faith-Based Grants Program for Economic Development.
As Deputy Borough President for Manhattan, Nereida was responsible for the development and implementation of a borough wide agenda in the areas of education, children and families.
During her tenure as Vice President of the Hispanic Federation, she was not only responsible for the creation of the Federation but subsequently for administration and operations.
Ms. Andino is currently is a member of the Allocations Committee of the NYC Council Communities of Color Stabilization Fund and the Hispanic Federation’s CORE Allocation’s and Amanece Committees.
Nereida Andino has a Master Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts Degree.
