Abrea Armstrong
President, Winston-Salem Urban League Young Professionals

Abrea Armstrong is the proud seed and bloom of Winston-Salem, NC. She is the CEO of 91-2-Infinity Creative Collaborative as well as Editor & Director of Communications for Activest—all while balancing a passion for community service and young professional development through her roles as President of the Winston-Salem Urban League Young Professionals. Abrea has received several accolades including being named as part of the inaugural class of the 20 in their 20’s and in Outstanding Voice in Diversity by the Triad Business Journal, 40 Under 40 Most Influential African-Americans in the Triad by Black Business Ink Magazine and was a 2019 recipient of Leadership Award by the Winston-Salem Chamber of Commerce. She was a 2021 NUL Emerging Leader. And most recently, the 2022 City of Winston-Salem MLK Young Dreamer Award.

Abrea received her master’s degree in business management from Wake Forest University in 2016 where she was a Dean’s Scholar. While studying for her undergraduate degree in Spanish from St. John’s University in 2013 where she graduated with honors, she completed internships with Jazz at Lincoln Center, Epic Records and XXL Magazine. She’s written for outlets like Diddy’s REVOLT TV and HuffPostLive. She is also working on her first novel Ferry Tales: The Recollection.
