Brittany Marshall
President, Urban League of Greater Atlanta Young Professionals
Brittany Marshall is a Behavioral Scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Clinical Research and Leadership at The George Washington University. Broadly, Marshall's practice and research interests include HIV prevention, health equity, program evaluation, and implementation science.
Locally in Atlanta, Marshall serves as the President for the Urban League of Greater Atlanta Young Professionals and on the Board of Directors for the Urban League of Greater Atlanta. Prior to serving as the President of ULGA-YP, she served as the ULGA-YP Vice President from July 2019 until June 2021 and ULGA-YP Personal and Professional Development Chair from January 2017 until June 2018. Outside of ULGA-YP, Brittany is involved in the American Public Health Association where she is on the Executive Board, and is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Brittany has received several awards, including the inaugural "40 Under 40 in Public Health" for the deBeaumont Foundation (2019), the 2021 40 Under 40 for Georgia Trend Magazine, the 2020 Southern Region Outstanding YP Member of the Year for the National Urban League Young Professionals, the 2020 Outstanding Young Alumni for the University of Florida College of Health and Human Performance, and is a member of the 2019 Class of Outstanding Atlanta. She is an alumna of LEAD Atlanta (2019), New Leaders Council (2018), and the National Urban League Emerging Leaders Program (2017-2018).
Marshall holds a Bachelors of Science in Health Education from the University of Florida, a Masters of Public Health from the University of South Florida, and a Doctorate of Public Health from the University of North Texas Health Science Center.
