Niambé Tomlinson
Niambé Tomlinson currently serves as the Senior Director of Communications, Advocacy and External Affairs for the National Urban League’s Washington Bureau. In this role, she oversees the entire communications operations for the Bureau including social media messaging and content, graphic designs and press related matters. She is also the producer of the national Urban League’s official podcast, the State of Black America – a podcast that elevates and discusses persistent policy, social and civil rights issues affecting Black Americans and communities of color.
Before arriving at the National Urban League, Niambé worked on Capitol Hill as Communications Manager for the newly inaugurated House Office of Diversity and Inclusion and Legislative Aide to United States Senator Kirsten Gillibrand of NY. Niambé received her Master’s in Strategic Public Relations and Crisis Management from George Washington University and a Bachelors from the University of Buffalo, State University of NY.
