Samuel Fair
Samuel Fair Samuel currently serves as the Sr. Director of Workforce Development for the Urban League of Greater Atlanta (ULGA). Joining the League in 2014 after nineteen years of work experience in institutional and community corrections and five years as an adjunct professor, Samuel’s expertise in providing a host of case management and client services relating to the needs of returning citizens such as education, substance abuse treatment, housing, employment, mental health treatment, and life skills training – helped him to develop a valuable skill set in providing workforce development services in underserved and challenged communities. His extensive knowledge of the criminal justice system and workforce development, enables him to provide insight, advice, and guidance to the Urban League’s transitional and young adult clientele to assist them in successfully navigating barriers they may be experiencing into empowerment and progressive changes in their lives.
Samuel earned his bachelor’s degree in criminology from the State University of New York’s - College at Old Westbury and his master’s degree in criminal justice from the City University of New York’s- John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
