As an affiliate of the Urban League Movement, ensuring that everyone in the communities that we serve gets counted, directly affects the work that we do to strengthen them in the future. Getting counted means getting an accurate reflection of who we are, a fair allocation in over $675 billion in federal resources, and protecting our vote in the electoral college.
In the 2020 Census, our charge is to inform everyone in our communities:
-
That the Census began mailing Census forms to most households on March 12th and sent additional surveys April 8th
-
There are multiple ways of being counted, including online
-
Who the hard to count (HTC) are
-
Where to go if they need help
