Success Story

Cassandra, a single mother, fell and injured herself after her landlord left a piece of scaffolding on her apartment stairs.  The injury required surgery and therapy for several weeks during which time her income suffered as well.  Just as she was recovering she was impacted by COVID-19. Thanks to United Way Helping Our Neighbors, The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis was able to get her the support she needed to stabilize her family when they needed it most.
