DeVon Nolt

Director, Workforce Development, National Urban League

DeVon Nolt, Director, Workforce Strategy, joined NUL in 2013. Along with Katie Taylor, he leads the Project Empower University capacity-building initiative. Before joining NUL, Mr. Nolt provided nonprofit management consulting services to nonprofits based in the New York metropolitan area and abroad, and wrote numerous successful grant proposals. Prior to consulting, Mr. Nolt was General Manager of Nimbus Dance Works, a mission-driven dance company providing high-level arts education programs to youth in Jersey City, NJ.  Before transitioning to nonprofit management, Mr. Nolt spent five years as a legal journalist and editor.
