The National Urban League’s Fair Budget Coalition is hosting a virtual town hall to address the impacts of the ongoing government shutdown and the need to ensure federal funding supports programs that strengthen and serve communities.

 

The event, End the Shutdown Virtual Town Hall, will bring together federal employees, civil rights leaders, and social justice advocates to discuss the impacts of the shutdown, the health care crisis it has intensified, and the urgent actions needed to end it while ensuring that federal funds are spent according to law.
