Brandon Levi Bruce
Brandon Levi Bruce was born and raised in Denver Colorado with the passion for his faith and community. He attended Denver East High School and graduated from Morehouse College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. Brandon began his career with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs and now owns a Project Management firm, The Distinction Group LLC, which serves multiple fortune 500 companies as well as other small businesses. Brandon currently works at Dish Network as a Senior Project Manager. He is an active member of the Dish Employee Network Group AAN.
After living and working in Atlanta, Brandon returned to Denver in 2015. He was then selected and completed the Urban Leadership Foundation of Colorado Leadership Development Program. He was awarded the Distinguished Graduate Award for that program and a Service Leadership Award for his leadership. After completing the Urban Leadership Foundation of Colorado Leadership Development program. Brandon also completed the Impact Denver Leadership Development Program in hopes of further developing his abilities to give back to his community. As a member and Vice President of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity INC, Denver Alumni Chapter, Brandon works with the Kappa League mentorship program and serves as the Chair of the Chapter’s Civic Action Committee.. In 2018, Brandon was named Co-Man of the Year by the Denver Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, for his service to the Chapter. Brandon has served as a board member for the Urban League Young Professionals for 4 years. He was elected President of the Urban League Young Professionals of Metro Denver in 2018. In 2019 Brandon led his chapter to be awarded as the Western Region Emerging Chapter of the Year. In February of 2020, Brandon was named the 2020 Fraternity Member of the Year by the Beta Rho Sigma Denver Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority INC. Brandon is an active member of the 100 Black Men of America Denver Chapter,, and the Denver African American Philanthropist (DAAP) which he now serves as CO-Chair. Brandon is also a board member for the Community Investment Network. Brandon is now a graduate of the 2021 Leadership Denver Cohort through the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, and serves on the Alumni Advisory Council for Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation. Recently, Brandon was selected to attend the 2021 Leadership Exchange Program with the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce Leadership Foundation. On this invitation-only trip, more than 150 business and civic leaders go to the source of innovative community leadership taking place in a U.S. or international city to explore and learn together, then bring back big ideas to improve Colorado. His attendance has already resulted in new partnerships with other attendees and civic organizations in Denver. Recently, Brandon was named one of the 2021 Young Professionals Honors Awards Recipients by the National Urban League and the National Urban League Young Professionals. Through this initiative, NULYP recognizes young professionals throughout the country who exemplify the NUL mission through their professional and personal contributions to their community through service. Brandon is now also serving as the Board Chairman of the non profit Giving Back 303, which serves a disaster response group locally and nationally. Recently Brandon was named as one of the 2022 African Americans Who Make a Difference by the Denver Urban Spectrum, an award
As a community leader, Brandon lives his life adhering to a scripture taught to him by his grandmother Mrs Betty Owens. “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your father who art in heaven”.
