Robert Joseph, Ph.D.
Co-Founder and President, Team MindShift
Robert is the Co-Founder and President of Team MindShift, which creates generational change through a holistic approach to IT and healthcare workforce development: integrating applied AI, hard skills, soft skills, and wellness. With 20+ years of experience as a university professor, he has taught more than 5,000 students. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from MIT, as well as an M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University with a minor in AI back when AI was almost cool. He speaks across the country at conferences and events on AI usage, and is a LinkedIn Learning instructor for the course Causal AI: Primer.
His industry background includes serving as a Senior Data Scientist and later as Director at Stanley Black & Decker, where he led initiatives in Industry 4.0 and Supply Chain innovation. Robert played a pivotal role in designing the Job Readiness Curriculum for Georgia State University. A seasoned developer, he has built hundreds of websites, applications, and mobile apps, and holds a patent for an internet DJ system. Above all, he considers his greatest achievement is being a father to two young men.
