Dr. Patricia Malone Smith

Director of Corporate Relations, Urban League of Middle Tennessee

Director of Corporate Relations, Urban League of Middle Tennessee Dr. Patricia Malone Smith serves as the Director of Corporate Relations for the Urban League of Middle Tennessee, where she oversees workforce corporate interactions with external stakeholders, corporate engagement, volunteers, and the growth and stewardship of corporate partners for the Urban League’s Advancing Workforce Equity Initiative.

A veteran of the Air National Guard, Malone-Smith holds a Master of Science in Administration with a focus in Human Resource Management from Central Michigan University, a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Development from Wilberforce University, and a range of certifications, including a Certified Business Advisor License from the University of Toledo and a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida. She is also a Certified Leadership Coach with the John Maxwell Team.

In addition to her professional work, Malone-Smith serves in various community leadership roles, including as the Executive Director for Greater Love Kingdom Building Church, Immediate Past President of the National Hook-up of Black Women Nashville Chapter, National Secretary for the National Hook-up of Black Women, Inc., and First Vice President of Programs for the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. Metro Nashville Chapter, Nashville Cable – Vice Chair of Corporate Membership, NAACP At Large Executive Board. She is also the President of the Urban League Guild of Middle Tennessee, President of the Tennessee Correctional Education Association, Board Secretary for Pathway Kitchen, and has serves on the Advisory Committees for Project SEARCH and Rebuilding Together Nashville, among others.

Malone-Smith is a co-author of Seven Paths, One Destination: Memoirs of Hope, Purpose, and Success. Passionate about advocating for women, children, and the elderly, Malone-Smith is driven to create meaningful change and inspire others. She has a daughter, Marquelle Robinson Johnson, and is married to Jeffrey Smith.
