Jens Ludwig
Jens Ludwig is the Edwin A. & Betty L. Bergman Distinguished Service Professor at the University of Chicago, co-director of the National Bureau of Economic Research’s working group on the economics of crime, and Pritzker Director of the University of Chicago Crime Lab, which he helped found 15 years ago to partner with local government to make the justice system more effective, fair and humane. He is on the editorial board of the American Economic Review is an elected to the National Academy of Medicine of the National Academies of Science.
