Over 18 years of experience in leadership, business development and program management in both the private and public sector. Mr. Dennis Nicholson has worked in multiple sectors and currently works on program development and design in the non-profit sector at The Urban League of Philadelphia. Prior to his current role as Director for the Office of Programs and Reentry, Mr. Nicholson worked in the private sector auto industry specializing in luxury brands and high-performance sports cars. He also managed and sold consumer products on the retail side of the business in home furnishings; growing businesses in two major Cities. Throughout his career, he has shown exemplary leadership, oversaw change management and business development which includes his role in the fleet transportation industry. Skilled in change management, program adoption and implementation, and leadership development. Leadership education includes Porshe Corporate Sales training, Trauma Education, and Trauma education with the PA Department of Education, Leadership Development at the Urban League of Philadelphia’s Urban Leaders Forum and is an ordained Elder within the Church of God in Christ, Inc. Dennis Nicholson has been married for 12 years and has an eight-year-old son. When he's not working, which is rare, he is playing golf, running, biking, singing or teaching his son to play the piano.
