Tiffany Winter is the 2025 – 2026 NULYP Membership Development and Retention Chair. She began her YP journey in March 2020 when she joined the Houston Area Urban League Young Professionals (HAULYP). Six years in the movement, Tiffany views herself as one of the many examples of how an organization can help young professionals bloom in an ever-changing world. The quiet behind the scenes person grew within her chapter from the behind-the-scenes task as a committee member to HAULYPs Membership Engagement Co-chair in 2023 and part of 2024. Her success as the HAULYP Membership Co-chair was a key driver in her winning HAULYP’s 2023 Executive Leadership Team Member of the Year and her chapter bringing home several awards at the 2024 and 2025 NUL Conference. Her commitment to membership within the movement led her to continue serving on the National Membership Committee in 2024 and then elevating to the NULYP Executive Leadership Team in 2025. At the root of it all, Tiffany is a data to action person and a professional problem solver. She has a skill to turn numbers into stories and identify successes and gaps to reach a goal.
Professionally, Tiffany is a public health professional who is passionate about addressing health disparities, encouraging healthier behaviors, and building supportive relationships to do so. Being a change agent that brings to fruition healthier communities is her “Why.” She currently works as a Senior Program Officer at the CDC Foundation where she oversees the execution of several Private and Federally projects across multiple non-infectious disease topics with most of her projects focused on maternal health. Prior to this, she has spent all her career working in tobacco prevention and education for local government, a state university system, and healthcare entities. Tiffany earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science from the University of Georgia and her Master of Public in Health Behavior from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
