Justin Lokossou
Program Manager, BUILD
Justin Lokossou has spent the majority of his life in the service to students. As a curriculum designer, educator, and academic advisor Justin worked with students from grades K-12, and has since focused his passion towards working with high school students. As a Program Manager for the 5 years at BUILD, Justin has annually co-created pacing and curriculum for high school cohorts, developed experiential learning opportunities for students and volunteer partners like, as well as established relationships with community partners and other organizations in service to creating continued opportunities for entrepreneurship and public speaking for young people.
By organizing, collaborative meetings and providing comprehensive coaching to external partners, Justin continues to foster a community of learning and innovation with students and educators. Justin also networked with and collaborated with various organizations to enhance the name of BUILD on regional and national levels, including but not limited to JobsFirst and the Small Business Administration. Justin holds a Bachelor of English Literature Language and Criticism from Hunter College, as well as a Certificate of Achievement: Emerging Leaders in Nonprofit Management from the Partnership of After School Education.
