Michael P. McMillan
Michael P. McMillan is President and CEO of the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, where he has led transformative growth since 2013, expanding its budget, footprint, and impact to serve over 200,000 residents annually. His leadership has driven major initiatives, including the redevelopment of the Victor Roberts Building, expansion of Head Start programs, and creation of new housing, business, and community empowerment projects across the region. He has guided the organization through critical moments, launching impactful efforts such as Save Our Sons after Ferguson and leading large-scale relief during COVID-19 and natural disasters. McMillan began his career as a youth volunteer with the Urban League and went on to break barriers in public service as the youngest elected member of the St. Louis Board of Aldermen and License Collector. Widely recognized for his leadership, he has received numerous national honors and continues to serve on several prominent boards while advancing equity and opportunity in St. Louis.
