  • The Jerry Bartow Scholarship Fund was established in June 1997 by the ITT Hartford Insurance Company. The Jerry Bartow scholarship is awarded in recognition of Dr. Jerry Bartow's service to ITT, and his long-standing commitment to BEEP, the National Urban League and the development of African-American Youth. The $1500 scholarship is awarded annually to two deserving students at BEEP participating HBCUs. Awardees must be classified as a Sophomore, Junior or Senior at the time the scholarship commences. In addition, he/she must be pursuing the completion of their undergraduate degree in Business, Education, Management or Technology with a GPA of at least 2.5.

The Jerry Bartow Scholarship Fund is maintained through personal and corporate contributions. To donate to the fund or apply for the scholarship, please contact the Black Executive Exchange Program (BEEP) office at 212-558-5300 or by e-mail at BEEP2005@nul.org.
