The National Urban League's Human Resources Department is responsible for the recruitment, training, skills development and benefits oversight of all National Urban League employees.
The Department manages the Urban League Employment Network and the Employment Zone two primary vehicles for connecting talented job seekers with some of the nation's leading companies and offers Career Development for ambitious professionals eager to increase their marketability.
The Employment Network
"Thousands of opportunities, one diversity source"
The Employment Network is a diversity job board that makes it possible for job seekers to search jobs and instantly post/submit their resumes online.
What's more, employers can post openings and review resumes in our talent-rich diversity database.
Employment Zone
The Employment Zone is the League's career fair held at Annual Conference. The fair features dozens of the nation's leading companies, nonprofits and government institutions, and gives job seekers direct access to participating companies. Job seekers can submit their resumes, speak directly with companies' human resources personnel, learn more about individual companies and, in some cases, interview on-the-spot for particular job openings. The Employment Zone is free and open to the public.
The Human Resources Department is also responsible for recruiting companies to exhibit at the Zone, coordinating advertising and staffing the event. The Employment Zone provides maximum exposure for companies interested in reaching the thousands of annual conference attendees, representing a diverse cross-section of some of the most highly talented professionals.
