    NATIONAL URBAN LEAGUE PUTS DYNAMIC SPEAKERS ON LUNCHEON MENU

    MBC Chairman and CEO Willie E. Gary, Esq. and Judge Glenda Hatchett of TV\'s "Judge Hatchett" to Address Organization\\\'s 2003 Annual Conference


    New York, NY, June 11, 2003—The National Urban League will feature Willie E. Gary, chairman and CEO of MBC Television Network-the only African-American owned and operated cable network in America-and Judge Glenda Hatchett of TV\\\'s Judge Hatchett, at its 2003 annual conference in Pittsburgh, PA this July. MBC will also conduct a live taping of its public affairs show, "The Future of Black America".

    Gary, whose MBC cable station features family-values oriented programming for the African-American community, will be the luncheon speaker on Monday, July 28, at 12:30 p.m., and Judge Hatchett will speak at the luncheon on Wednesday, July 30 at 12:00 p.m.

    On Tuesday, July 29, Gary will host a taping of MBC\\\'s public affairs program, "The Future of Black America", which features a panel discussion moderated by Gary and noted Economist Dr. Julianne Malveaux. This taping is open to all annual conference registered guests.

    The National Urban League 2003 annual conference takes place July 26 through July 30 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This year\\\'s theme is The Black Family: Building on its Resilience. The PNC Financial Services Group and Office Depot are the National Co-Chairs. The Urban League of Pittsburgh is the host affiliate and Equitable Resources, Inc. is the Chair of the local host committee.
