Project Ready Invitational College Fair

Not to be missed, the First Annual Project Ready College Fairwill be heldin the Exhibit Hallon Saturday, July 31, 2010 for high school students from Urban League Affiliate programs and the DC area.

Over 40 colleges and universities, college access organizations, and scholarship organizations will participate. Confirmed institutions include: Barnard College, Bates College, Columbia University, MIT, Princeton University, Vassar College, Wellesley College, and Stanford University.

In conjunction with the Association of Black Admissions and Financial Aid Officers of the Ivy League and Sister Schools (ABAFAOILSS) there will be Professional Development Workshops on admissions and financial aid for Urban League affiliate staff.  The College Fair will also provide a “college ready” session for DC area parents and additional public training opportunities for area nonprofit, afterschool, youth development and school staff.
